It all started in 2008 when renowned photographer Dan Borris received a request from a friend to photograph her doing yoga with her dog. That moment sparked an idea—why not showcase dogs striking yoga poses instead?

With the help of his wife, Alejandra Diaz-Berrio, and their own pup, Mela, the Yoga Dogs series was born. Not long after, their cat Snoosh inspired the launch of Yoga Cats. Today, the collection has expanded to include Yoga Kittens and Yoga Puppies, featuring adorable pets from local shelters.
